To monitor the activity and provide recommendations for changes in the programme and procedures to the International Board
Report to the Board for the AIM and to the International Executive Committee (IEC) for the Mid-Way Meeting. Reports may also be required by the IEC during the year.
To provide general advice on the management and content of programmes to NAs and IO
To monitor quality of programmes and compliance with International rules
To serve as a “trouble shooter” to Chapters or National Associations that are having difficulties in beginning or maintaining a programme consistent with CISV rules, standards or recommendations
To cooperate with the other committees on projects and concerns of common interest
To ensure a continuous programme of work within the NA and Local Chapters. A basis for this is to construct a file where national/local material and experiences are gathered. This would concern both hosting of camps and other national programme work. This file can be seen as an extension of the Guide and should be kept together with it
To keep the Guide up to date
To provide policy requirements and material for selection and training/preparation of staff/leaders and participants
Work with IO on the “Football Pools” and present them at the AIM
During the programmes, International Committee members are contact people should any questions/problems arise.
The Committees meet formally immediately prior to and at the AIM. They are in touch during the year by phone/fax/e-mail.
