About IPT

The selection of the first International Pool of Trainers (IPT) took place in 2007. All candidates completed an extensive application process. This included participation in an International training workshop as a trainer where candidates were observed facilitating a session. The final selection was announced at the Annual International Meeting in Colombia in August of 2007. In late November, all members of the newly-formed International Pool of Trainers met together with representatives from the International Leadership Training Committee, Organizational Development Committee, the Educational Development and Research Committee, the International Executive Committee, the International Junior Branch, and the International Mosaic Committee at a Writeshop in Newcastle upon Tyne to redesign and restructure the previous TTT Curriculum.

Since then more then 200 participants have been attending one of the 9 TTTs that have happend so far.

As for now the International Pool of Trainers will keep the focus on the TTT workshops, but hope that the furture will bring other advanced workshops.
