Chuck Catania, CISV USA
Over twenty years experience in developing and delivering educational programs. Currently working as university faculty, consultant to public schools and in private practice; trained as an educational psychologist and currently completing a doctoral degree in educational leadership; has served CISV at the local and national level since 1987.
Rogelio Gutierrez (Roy), CISV Mexico
Currently a business consultant on logistics and supply chain, with experience in delivering related training in the private sector. Nearly 10 years of experience as leadership trainer for CISV Mexico.
Leah Levac, CISV Canada
Currently enrolled at the University of New Brunswick as a Ph.D. student whose research focuses on leadership development and citizenship education to enable health for marginalized adolescent populations. Worked and volunteered with youth in a number of countries, including Canada, the United States, Zimbabwe, and Mexico; also involved with training staff teams for a number of youth organizations.
Mitzi Mapa, CISV Philippines
12 years experience in the field of elementary education in local and international schools, with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education specializing in Early Childhood. Over 10 years experience in the field of teacher training and student leadership formation programs and over 12 years of leadership involvement in CISV programmes; served as a member of CISV Philippines’ National Leadership Training Committee as well as their National Board of Trustees.
Bjørn Samming, CISV Denmark
Bachelor degree in Childhood Education, currently working as a youth counselor in an after-school programme for teenagers; Nearly 7 years experience developing leadership and facilitation skills for CISV Juniors at a National and regional level; former coordinator of training in CISV Denmark for all program leaders, Staff, JCs and experience conducting Train the Trainer workshops for 70 trainers in seven different National Associations.
Mark Porter Webb, CISV USA
Coordinator of the leadership formation area within the socio-economic and cultural organizing school, Justicia Global, in the Dominican Republic. Holds a masters in adult education and community development and a bachelors in peace and global studies. Two and half years of experience teaching junior high and high school English and social studies. Over six years of experience in leadership involvement in CISV programs including membership in the US chater board of trustees from 2005-2006. Currently also coordinating CISV NGO/LMO relations work within the Americas region.
Caecilia Van Peski, CISV The Netherlands
Holds master degrees in Educational and Cultural Psychology and further degrees in International Development Studies, Global Education and International Peacekeeping.. Independent international consultant within Van Peski Consult, also contracted by Fontys University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands (faculty staff / PhD candidate). Over twenty years experience in curriculum development, training delivery and performance assessment. Experience in over thirty (post-)conflict regions as an election observer for the EU and OSCE and from her involvement in Civil Military Co-operation (part of the Dutch Armed Forces). Has made extensive contributions to research through academic publications in the field of international co-operation, democratisation and leadership. On the executive level, member of the Board of the United Nations Association the Netherlands (NVVN), member of the Board of Advice for the Foundation of Peace Sciences (SVW) and member of the Board of IKV Pax Christi (largest Professional Peace Movement in the Netherlands). Associates with CISV International since 1994 (including chair Educational Development & Research Committee 2006-2009).
