About LTC

Committee Name: Leadership Training Committee (LTC)
 
Committee Purpose: To ensure that quality training and training resources are provided for all people assuming positions of responsibility in CISV Programmes and organizationally.
 

 
The committee has three main areas of focus:
 
  • Quality Standards: It is the responsibility of the LTC to set quality standards for leadership training in all programs. These are known as training goals and indicators. Using these goals and indicators, the program committees and the Education Department develop materials for the common elements of training. .
 
  • Training Evaluation: Another responsibility is the development of quality standards for leader training evaluation. Evaluation of training materials and the effectiveness of CISV training, as well gathering and providing feedback on evaluation data to program committees is an ongoing focus for LTC.
 
  • Networking: LTC is presently working to develop an overview of leadership training across CISV. Using this overview, LTC hopes to establish a networking tool for all CISV trainers, which promotes communication and the sharing of training resources.
