Cathy Knoop is from the USA and lives in the rural part of Ohio known as the Hocking Hills. With a Masters in Education, she is a retired science teacher, who currently does education workshops throughout Ohio. Active in CISV since 1979, she has served in various positions locally, nationally and internationally. She is currently chair of the LTC, and enjoying being back in the education and training part of the organization. Contact me
Sarah Laughton is from the western part of Canada. She presently works as a teacher librarian and has a Masters in Educational Leadership. Currently she is focusing on the networking goal for LTC. Her involvement in CISV started in 1984. Since then she has participated in various programs, worked with national committees, and been involved in leadership training. Contact me
Ronald Cordoba is from Costa Rica. He has a license in Social Studies with a major in Assessment tools. Presently he serves as the government teaching counselor for National Education Plans and Evaluation. He has been active in CISV since 1997, participating in 18 programs, serving as a trainer, national board member, trustee, and the national secretary. Ro is focusing on evaluation for LTC. Contact me
Bruno Goncalves is from Brazil. His membership in CISV started when he was a young participant and continued as he became a leader. He presently works with various levels of training for his national association. His Bachelor’s degree and professional career is in economics; he served as an intern with UNESCO; and he is presently continuing his studies. He is focusing on networking for LTC. Contact me
The committee’s personal goal: The committee hopes to develop a strong team who will work to facilitate quality training for the organization. We hope to establish a close and friendly relationship with CISV trainers and be able to contribute to their planning and evaluation process by providing tools and ideas that define overall direction for CISV training. Through networking, we hope to share successes, frustrations, and materials with trainers throughout the world.
