ERC restructure is completed

At AIM2010 in Germany, the External Relations Committee (ERC) was split into two separate committees supporting the achievement of CISV's Educational Purpose by increasing the capacity of the organisation to raise profile at all levels of the organisation.

The Public Relations Committee (PRC) and the International Communications Committee (ICC) allow work to continue in a structure that is better aligned with the new strategic priorities that commenced in January 2010.

The PRC and the ICC will continue to focus on the 4 goals that make up the Profile Raising strategic priority.

These four goals relate to:

• Communicating a consistent message effectively with each other and external audiences
• Having refined messages for key target audiences
• Increasing the impact of Profile Raising activities at every level of the organisation
• Making the most of our 60th Anniversary as an opportunity to raise our profile and build our profile raising capability.

The PRC and the ICC and the Organisanisational Relations Committee (ORC) form the Profile Raising Department and will work collaboratively with the Communications Officer at International Office.
