For many years CISV News was published in paper format and distributed to recent CISV participants by mail or distributed through National Associations.

At AIM 2006 it was decided that this method of publication was both too expensive and was also not reaching the required number of members.

The publications team within ERC have now developed a new version of CISV News that can be printed or can be distributed electronically.

The first edition was launched along with the new International website at the end of February 2007 and was distributed electronically to every member of CISV Friends (about 11,600 members).
