Mona El Shibiny (Egypt) - Chair
I am Mona El Shibiny from Egypt. I joined CISV Egypt in 2004 as a member in the Interchange committee and currently I am on the board as the Secretary General. My journey in the IFC started in 2005 as a co-opted member and currently I am proudly serving my first year as Chair. On a professional level, I maintain a position as a financial advisor for the Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development in Egypt. I have previous experience in corporate banking and financial consultancy for different industries.
Roman Parzei (Canada) - Alternate Chair
Roman
holds a Bachelor of Artes in Political Science and has professional training as a Certified General
Accountant. As a member of CISV Canada, he has served as Treasurer between 02 and 08. He has 10
years of financial planning and budgeting responsibilities, 20 of cash control and investment
portfolio management ,and 8 years in risk management and insurance. he has experience
in control, administration and management of funds and investment portfolios of more than
$600 million, including investment of the funds with the goal of maximizing investment yields
and minimizing investment risk. Roman has been a member of RIMS (Risk and Insurance
Management Society) and on the Board of ORIMS (Ontario Risk and Insurance Management Society)
for 7 years. ORIMS representative on the RIMS Canada Council, member of SPIAO (Society of
Public Insurance Administrators of Ontario) and a member of TMAC (Treasury Management
Association of Canada).
