Workshop Evaluation Summary

INTERCHANGE WORKSHOP EVALUATION

[We had 15 participants, 13 evaluations were returned, some questions were not answered.]

  1. Who are you and where have you been?
    Your NA:
6FRA, CZE, GEO, CZE, LEB, POR, DEN, ESP, BUL
    Your role:
    7Leader, 2LIC, 2NIC, Board Member
    Where was the workshop:
    Hamburg, Germany
    When was the training:
    29.4.-3.5.2009

  2. Did the training meet your expectations:
    12 yes 0 no; Why?

  • I wanted to know more about CISV and what is good in CISV (because I don't really like my first experience)

  • I was lost but now I feel ready to applicate what I saw during the RTF

  • I wasn't expecting that kind of training. As it was my 1st CISV experience I didn't know what to expect from it, I was just hoping that it would be interesting and bring we something new

  • Because I've already been a leader without training I was a bit afraid by not learning a lot, which was a mistake to think that.

  • [no answer marked] Before I'm coming here, I didn't have expectation, because I don't have experience

  • It was very rich with information. It was good planned.

  • It covered all the information I was expecting before coming. Now most of the things are clear.

  • I had never been to a workshop before so I didn't have expectations

  • Excellent trainers, lots and lots of information

  1. Was the time allotted to each topic adequate?
    12 yes 1 no; Comments:

  • The organization of the planning is really good. Because we can work and be in concentration seriously but not like in school.

  • We didn't have so much free time, but it's a good thing because we have just 5 days. It will be better in one week.

  • It cannot be more adequate and our trainers adapted to us (if tired, if not concentrated, …)

  • It was quite adequate. We had the chance to get all the answers we needed. We did interesting and beneficial conversation after each topic.

  • We need more time about the “parents training”

  • [yes/no both marked] I wish it would be possible to end session no later than 22.00 any night. A little longer breaks, and then maybe you have to skip a topic or activity, but that is all right. I have to go home and work, and when I'm worn out it is not optimal

  1. Did the Workshop cover topics that are important and useful in your Interchange work?
    13 yes 0 no; Why?

  • I am not good in English, but now I understand how I should be with the participants in Interchange.

  • Because I was afraid to do wrong thing with the family and participants (kids).

  • We really need to be prepared to the legal, cultural & other aspects. Very important.

  • It was really concrete and we had the opportunity to be active.

  • The topics were well prepared and were usually major topics for IC

  • Now I am no longer lost. I got all the information I wanted before coming

  • The workshop had all important topics for leaders and LIC, without being too long, giving a really good overall view of the IC and expected things that are important

  •

  1. Were there any additional topics that you felt should have been included?
    5 yes 8 no; Which?

  • Yes:

    • If I'm in conflict with the other leader. I would like more information about my attitude

    • Youth psychology. We need it in CISV and in all the RTF I went, I think it miss this kind of topic

    • Perhaps something about handling difficult situations, call me if you want examples

  • No:

    • We dealt with so many things

    • The topics were enough

    • I think we dealt with the most important topics. Time was short, so we won't have been able to add anything else

  1. Was/were the presenter/s knowledgeable and well prepared?
    13 yes 0 no; Comments:

  • We just are 16 in my interchange group, but we can have the fortune to have 2 presenters who create a really important balance

  • They can answer at our questions without problems

  • Yes, very well. Sharing their own experience with us was also a really good & interesting thing

  • Impressive knowledges. I loved the examples.

  • I love our trainers

  • Great work

  • They were good listeners and able to answer and explain materials not quite understood

  • They did really well

  • They are really good. Nice work!

  • Of course!!

  • Some long sessions were not so active

  1. Were there enough opportunities for workshop participants to be actively involved?
    13 yes 0 no; Comments:

  • We can (or should) participate every time.

  • We were solicited and we have practiced activities to feel in our future work

  • Always invited to share our opinion, to express ourselves during the sessions and activities

  • I enjoyed to share our workshop in groups to plan an activity or to prepare a schedule

  • The presenters tried hard to involve all the participants and were very patient

  • We were always making activities, the workshops were really active “learning-by-doing”

  • I loved that all the participants had a really active role during the workshop

  1. Anything else?

  • I really really really important to have two trainers (when they create a balance) because different visions will become us better

  •

A very good experience and it was useful.

  •

It was such a great experience to discover CISV through this first experience. I shared so much, I really love the philosophy and I'm so motivated for my Interchange as a leader

  •

I loved my trainers. It is really nice to have two, because it's balanced. We worked a lot and we were able to create a special atmosphere. My trainers and my friends (other participants) gave me the opportunity to help everybody to create relationship with each other.

  •

    Thanks for training

  • Very big experience for me, interesting kind of people around, nice atmosphere. I'm satisfied very much!!! Thanks a lot! :-)

  •

    Thank you

  •

Frank and Sara are the best trainers ever

  •

The topic “Matchbox Procedure” was really interesting!!!
