Education and Training
Kiran Hingorani was CISV's first Education Officer and worked at the IO from mid-2006 through the end of January 2011. He was involved in many exciting developments. We thank Kiran for his dedication, enthusiasm and expertise and wish him all the best in his new position.
We are pleased to welcome Rupert Friederichsen as our new Education Officer, starting from June 2011. With a background and keen interest in Sustainable Development, it is perfect timing for Rupert to work with the Education Department and Programme Committees on next year’s focus area. On his second day or or work at the IO, Rupert travelled to Lithuania to attend the Europe North Regional Training Forum as a key part of his orientation. He sat in on sessions from all the trainings to help develop an understanding of our training approach and content.
