In 2007 and 2008, the focus has been on implementing the new brand guidelines so that CISVers everywhere can provide a clear and consistent message about who we are and what we do. This work provides the essential foundation for the development of a long-term marketing strategy for the international organisation.
Early in 2008 we recruited Denise Farrar to the newly created post of Development Officer. She is responsible for taking the overview on CISV marketing, fundraising and public relations. Working closely with the Fundraising and Marketing Team of the External Relations Committee, she is available to provide support, assistance and training. Additionally, she is responsible for managing international grant applications and sponsor relations. Denise has developed a 3 year marketing strategy for the organization, with the aim of developing the capacity of CISV to raise its profile and increase fundraising.
