CISV Official Documents and Archives
As you may be aware, CISV has developed an enormous number of documents and historical material. At the IO, we are responsible for making the current documents accessible on the Resources web site and for storing many of the older ones.
Current Official CISV Documents
If it's information relating to administration and operations, risk management, policy and
procedures, CISV education, external relations, governance and structure of CISV, or, well just
about any thing to do with the running of CISV, then it is the
Info File
that you want.
If you would like to find a set of rules or guidelines, everything from general guide lines on hosting a programme, to a Treasurers guide, then you can go straight to the Guides .
If you need to down load a programme form, evaluation form, general administration form or any kind of form, then click on Forms .
So for the most up-to-date versions of policies, procedures, forms and programme guides, the resources website is your one-stop-shop. You’ll also be able to find new and old publications there.
Archived Documents
Earlier versions of current official documents are stored at IO. We also have some
interesting historical material from around the CISV world. However, if you are interested in
looking at the earlier CISV documents developed by Dr. Doris Allen, then most of them are kept at
the
Blegen Library in the University of Cincinnati.
National Association Information
Among the archived material at the IO, is a file for each National and Promotional
Association (NA/PA). It contains official documents provided by the NA/PA, such as constitution and
board decisions. In addition, each year, the IO issues and collects National Report Forms (NRF)
from every Association. This process provides CISV International with important basic information
about the membership, structure, financial status, activities and other aspects of our members
associations.
