Participants will work with Lindenstrasse 54, an organization that is a Memorial and Documentation Center, researching and documenting victims of political violence.  They will share international perspectives on how different cultural and political systems deal with their past.  How is it integrated and present in the lives of current citizens?

Participants will utilize this information to create an educational experience for youth from Berlin so that they can understand how the past impacts their lives.  Specifically, participants will help Lindenstrasse 54 convey the impact of the Ministry for State Security, one of the most powerful tools of German dictatorship, on their lives and culture.
