Partner OrganisationCasalecchio di Reno Municipality DescriptionThe IPP will be the final step of a bigger project run by the Municipality for the
year of the biodiversity 2010, in the cooperation with various local associations
and the University of Bologna. The larger project will increase biodiversity
through the creation of urban flowerbeds, roundabouts and urban parks. A
network of “ecological corridors” will also be created, through which the parks
are connected by a system of green links that improve the development of
biodiversity. Agricultural biodiversity will also be explored in the biodynamic farm
situated in Parco Talon, one of the most important urban park in the city http://
www.ortalon.org/. The participant will have to be ready to have their hands on
the ground, sun on their heads and a smile on their face!
