Hucul Club
Hucul club is an association for preservation Hucul horse. It was founded in 1972 when there were only 300 purebred horses in the world. The goal of this association is to save the Hucul species from extinction and help to find the species a role in the modern world.

Description

 
We will work with a farm breeding the endangered horse called “hucul”. We will support community in its task to preserve the species. We will exchange experiences both between the participants and the partner organisation, discussing how best to preserve animal and plant biodiversity in the participants’ home countries.
 
Practical Contribution

Participants will live and work on the farm and will support the Hucul Club staff with the daily tasks on the farm including taking care of the horses and small manual tasks in the barn, fields and stables.

 

Participant Profile

People interested in nature and its protection. People willing to do manual work outdoors. Experience with horses and farming is welcomed but not necessary.
