We Want You!

The International IPP Committee are a group of hardworking and dedicated volunteers who look after the IPP Programme and its development.

Our work throughout the year is excitingly varied but includes:

• strategic development of IPP as a programme
• giving support and training to a staff team of every project
• promoting our programme to the world and encouraging hosting and sending
• providing advice and training to National IPP Coordinators

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

New Committee Members

The International Peoples Project team are looking for people whom have passion for IPP Programme and past IPP experience to contribute to its on going promotion and development.

The task of the committee are widely varied and so we would find tasks which best suit your own skills and interests.

We want our committee to be as geographically diverse as possible and so would particularly welcome interest from IPP enthusiasts in Ltain America and Asia Pacific.  We are, however, open to applications from all!

Regional Staff Trainers

Due to the growth in IPPs taking place each year we are looking to develop a team of highly skilled Regional Staff Trainers.  Although we aim to have a trainer in each region we will begin by recruiting trainers in:

• North America,
• Central Europe,
• South Europe

The ideal candidates:

• WIll live in one of the regions above
• Will have IPP experience, preferably as a staff member
• Will have training experience - inside or outside of CISV
• Will be able to give up a couple of weekends a year to carry out training

To prepare for the role of of regional staff trainer you will need to work together on preparing and carrying out a staff training with a current member of the committee and attend a Train the Trainer workshop if you haven't already done so.
