Many of the girls cannot read or write and/or are exposed to harmful traditional practices.The IPP participants will work with the Girls Dreams Programme to design and print a brochure and poster to be used for future promotion and fundraising. They will also help build a library for the shelter and make small country presentations to expose the women to other parts of the world. The IPP will give the women the opportunity to express their fears, dreams and opinions and work on their leadership and teamwork skills at a time when they are at a cross roads in their lives.
