Together with a committee "buddy" you will evaluate hosted camps in your region.
You will also contribute actively to the internal communication in the committee and strive for improvements to the program.
The Qualities prefered:
You have extensive experience with the summer camp program as a leader/and or staff.
You are a good organiser with experience in planning and running workshops
You are a nice person to work with
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Creating a Summercamp Theme example
We need a new fully developed theme example for our Summercamp Guide(section C-3.3.1). From This example is going to help new staff in their planning process. The theme should be related clearly to our new educational tools (the passport, big Ed) and off course be really good. See the Summercamp Guide for more information.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Creating a Summercamp Cultural Activity example
We also need a new fully developed Cultural Activity example for our Summercamp Guide (or great improvements of the existing ones, section C-3.12). See the guide for information on Cultural Activities.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Newsletter
Help evaluate and be creative regarding the future of our Newsletter. The idea is to try to put it on a website. We need your help making this idea a reality. Check out current newsletters here:http://resources.cisv.org/isu/news.html
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Activity Templates
We need a person to be in charge of reviewing incoming Activity templates from summercamps. Upon receiving templates that could be improved, you would be in charge of the communication with the staff or leader and helping them to improve it, before it is send to the activity database in the library.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So if you are interested and willing to help us out with any of this, simply send an e-mail to Mette at mette.floistrup@dk.cisv.org and she will provide more information. Or come find her at the committee room if you are at AIM.
