CISV Chapters are local communities of volunteers who actively contribute to a more just and peaceful world.
CHAPTER GOALS AND INDICATORS [DRAFT]
GOAL 1: Develop a sustainable local CISV community.
A) Understand how the CISV Statement of Purpose and Principles can be used in the Chapter
B) Be willing to develop an inclusive membership
C) Understand the infrastructure, policies and resources needed to create and sustain an effective Chapter
D) Be able to prepare and support members to be successful in their Chapter roles
GOAL 2: Be active in the local community.
A) Understand the needs and opportunities in the local community that relate to CISV and Peace Education
B) Be able to use Peace Education for the benefit of the local community
C) Be willing to build partnerships with Like Minded Organizations on Peace Education related projects and activities
D) Be willing to raise the profile of CISV
GOAL 3: Host and participate in CISV International Peace Education Programmes.
A) Be willing to participate in a variety of CISV programmes
B) Understand the benefits and impact of the hospitality point system and fee structure
C) Be able to prepare and support Chapter members to be successful in their programme related roles
D) Be able to deliver programmes within the National Association and Global Hosting Plan
GOAL 4: Be active in the CISV community nationally and internationally.
A) Understand CISV’s organizational structure, policies and standards
B) Be willing to participate in national, regional and international committees, networks and training
C) Be willing to contribute to international projects, plans and consultations
D) Be willing to adapt and use global initiatives at a local level
