Who are we?

Denise - Juanca - Anna - Daniel - Marietta |

Daniel Frelén - Committee Chair
Daniel is an engaged volunteer who has been working with CISV in various ways for a few years now. He sees the relations with other organisations as a way of communicating what we are doing to a greater audience. But also as an opportunity to bring home best practices from other organisations in order to develop our work.

Anna Widegren - Key Relations Coordinator
Anna joined CISV at the age of 11 for her village. Since then she has participated in numerous different programmes, in various capacities, as well as having been active on the international and national level. She joined the ORC (formerly known as NGO Relations Team) in 2007 as CISV's Representative to the Council of Europe, and has been working to develop CISV's official relations ever since.
In her non-CISV life, Anna is still a student, studying Political Science at the University of Glasgow, and hoping to graduate in June 2011! She is Swedish by origin, although grew up in Italy (in fact in CISV she is always Italian!) and has been moving around the past few years for University and Internships. She is hoping to continue working with Youth Issues and Intercultural Dialogue.

Marietta Möhlen - Support for NAs and Chapters Coordinator
Marietta has been involved with CISV since 2004, participated in many different programs and was NJR for Germany for 2 years which she really enjoyed. She started working with the committee in 2008 when she lived in Paris and got to know more about the work CISV is doing with UNESCO.
She studies Governance and Public Policy in a small town in Germany and is working for the student parliament. What comes next is not very clear, maybe an other country for her masters or at least and other town but for sure she will keep up volunteering to make the world a better place.
