Certification
A requirement for anyone running official international or regional trainings workshops in the name of CISV is that he/she is a certified trainer.
To become a certified international trainer you must: (a) complete a trainer application and supply a letter of support from your sponsoring National Association, Chapter, or Programme Committee; (b) be accepted as a training candidate; (c) complete and return a questionnaire that will be sent to you in a pre-training information pack; (d) attend an entire TTT-workshop; and (e) successfully complete an assessment process at the end of your TTT-workshop.
After becoming an certified trainer, you will: (a) receive a certificate of completion that enables you to deliver programme or organizational trainings as a certified CISV trainer; (b) hold a valid trainer certification for three years from the date of your training; (c) become eligible to apply to become part of the international pool of trainers in the future and (d) have access to a network of trainers that can provide you with ideas, guidance and updated training materials.
The TTT-workshops held at Regional Training Forums are held in the different regions on an annual basis. They are organized by the International Leadership and Training Committee (ILTC) and are facilitated by a specially trained pool of international trainers.
