How to develop a theme before, during and even after the camp?

Greetings from the International Youth Meeting Taskforce!
One of our main tasks is the constant improvement of this great activity, for this reason this year we decided to focus more on the activity’s educational content, as we feel that Program Content is the way of expressing and transmitting CISV’s Goals.
We are therefore proposing to emphasize something, which is often one of the weakest parts of a YM: its Theme. When the work of choosing activities for a CISV program is based on a coordinated theme, it is easier to meet specific educational objectives. The model developed within CISV to help in the process of selecting themes is the CISV Education Circle.
In order to develop the educational content of YMs in this way, the Taskforce proposes this pack of ideas about how to develop a theme before, during and even after the camp.

For the staff
Theme Questionnaire - to fill out before the camp by the staff and send to the YMC. This questionnaire help the staff in the development of the theme in the camp. At the same time, this questionnaire help the committee to give a better support for developing the educational content.
